These light sculptures are probably my favorite works from South African artist Clive van den Berg. The installations were produced for his 2003 exhibition “Love’s Ballast”, and the “Personal Affects” group exhibition held in New York in 2005.  I wrote my dissertation about his work, which deals largely with his homosexuality, but you can forget the theory because these images need no explanation. Van den Berg works in a variety of media so take a look at his official website.
